U.S. President Donald Trump was welcomed to South Korea by its president Moon Jae-in and one of its biggest K-pop boy band Exo at Cheong Wa Dae (presidential office). White House advisers Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also took part in the dinner held at the Sangchunjae pavilion, a beautiful structure modeled after a traditional Korean house, or hanok. Also invited were South Korean boy band EXO and Pak Se-ri, head coach of South Korea’s female golf team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Pak is an iconic figure in South Korea’s golf circles. Exo gave a signed copy of their album to Ivanka before the banquet dinner.
